Towing 101

🚨THIS IS ABOUT SAFETY NOTHING MORE🚨

Troy’s Law (HB 282) is not asking for full-time blue lights.
It is not asking to act like law enforcement.

We are simply asking for:

👉 Rear-facing blue lights ONLY
👉 Used ONLY when parked
👉 On the shoulder or in the roadway working an accident
👉 On a completely separate switch

These lights would be used alongside our amber lights — not in place of them.

They will NEVER be used while traveling
They will NEVER be used for any other purpose

Let’s be clear —
We are not outlaws.
We are not trying to play cops and robbers.

We are the blue-collar men and women who show up when others won’t.
The ones working inches from traffic, in the dark, in the rain, in dangerous conditions —
keeping roads open and helping people get home.

The towing industry is tired of being overlooked.
Tired of being treated like we don’t matter.

👉 We are a critical part of roadway safety.
👉 We are first on scene more often than not.
👉 And we deserve to be seen.

This is about one thing:
👉 One more layer of protection to make it home.

Move HB 282 out of committee.
