I've bred, raised and shown the rare and endangered American Chinchilla rabbit breed since 2015.

Brrr, it's cold out there! I've been cutting the wood up and just started channeling the tracks for the sliding adjustment panels inside. All is going well, and it looks like I'll be able to start shipping tattoo boxes out on Monday!

My new anti fog safety glasses are even working as advertised! 😁

If you want to ensure your box has time to get to you before Christmas, please make sure I have your PayPal email so I can send your invoice and get the address I'll be shipping to!

Thank you! ☺

Tattoo Boxes are once again available in the L3 Farm store and ready to ship!

GOOD NEWS!

I've gotten the "L3 Farm Woodshop" up and running again, and have built several tattoo boxes so far! I will be re-enabling the storefront listing for the boxes, on L3FarmRabbitry.com soon, so they can be ordered, both for local delivery/pickup, and for shipping country-wide.

I apologize for the delay since my wrist surgery. It's taken longer than I expected to get back into the woodshop and blowing the figurative (and literal) dust off the machines.

Anyone who raises rabbits knows that it's done for the love of the hobby; there is no profitability in raising show rabbits. Woodworking and rabbits are my hobbies, not my "day job." I'm actually a computer programmer and data analyst for a healthcare organization. Long hours at the office tend to sap my interest in additional long hours in the barn and garage in the evening -- but lately, I am working to achieve a bit more balance in life (i.e. 'normal' hours at work, hopefully allowing myself more time to pursue my other interests). I'm also attending rabbit shows a bit less frequently, so I'll be home a few more weekends than I have in past years. I will likely choose shows by coordinating with other local American Chinchilla breeders, to make sure others will be attending, first.

I want to sincerely thank all of my wonderful friends and customers for your patience, understanding, interest, and your incredible loyalty to, and for, the things I create for you. I look forward to introducing additional products (such as grooming tables and stands) in the near future!

p.s. One thing I've learned is that table saws are still, fundamentally, just tables, and they collect things just like other tables do! I had quite a time, unburying that saw. Now to do the same thing with my living room coffee table! LOL

Lost my sweet, special buck, Clum's Indy, on Thursday. 😔 It's hard when a loved herd animal passes.

L3 Farm's Wagner, junior buck. BOS Show A, BOB Show C, in Hermiston Oregon. Almost without doubt, the best we've produced so far. Can't wait to get him into the breeding program... we can sure use that depth!

We found this feed, and a nearby vendor of it (Morrow Feed) to ship it in for us. The one we'd been feeding before had begun being rejected by most of the herd because of a suspected sodium imbalance in their formula. Switched to this, and they all accepted it readily. Have had very nice results since the switch, in coat and flesh condition, as well as the show table.
