He spent 4 years writing a book... and then asked the important question...
"How do I sell it?"
Think about that.
The book was already written. And now he finally wondered if anyone actually wanted it.
Maybe it'll sell, but what if it doesn't?
Four years is a long time to find out.
That's the trap. We build something big, in the dark, hoping it lands. And the whole time, the person we could've served this month is still out there. Still stuck. Still willing to pay someone to help them.
Next Tuesday the 14th, I'm teaching a live workshop inside the Tentmaking Mastermind: "How to Find Your First Paid Client."
Here's what the next 30 days could look like:
โ In an afternoon, idea in your head becomes a polished offer.
โ Within a week, you're in conversations confirming people will pay for it.
โ Within 30 days, you could've launched and earned over $17K. That's exactly what my student Richard did.
The thing that makes it all possible? The offer doc.
But an offer doc that sells follows a formula. Who it's for. What it does. The transformation. The proof. The price. The reason to act now. Leave one ingredient out, and your odds of landing that first client fall off a cliff.
Get it right, and something shifts.
You sit across from one person and you actually know what to say.
Because once your offer is built, you're only ever one conversation away from a sale.
I've sold this mastermind out four times and today, I opened five more spots. That's it. Five. And Tuesday's workshop is what those five people get to start with.
If you've been on the fence, this is the moment.

๐จ Pastors, Ministry Leaders, and Christian Coaches ๐จ
If I offered to help you land your first paid coaching client in the next 30 days:
โ
using the sermon series or counseling framework already sitting on your hard drive
โ
in 30 days, one-on-one with me
โ without building a course, running ads, or learning a single funnel
โฆ would you take me up on that offer?
Leaders who've gone through this process have:
โ
closed $16,625 in their first 30 days (while still substitute teaching)
โ
generated $200k in year one, alongside a full-time pastorate
โ
closed $9,970 in 45 days with just 246 followers
Are you next?
Comment "tell me more" and I'll get you the details.
๐ธ: Throwback to New Years in Hawaii
Here's how pastors get to skip the hardest part about building a coaching business.
Contrary to popular belief, the hardest part isn't the offer or building a funnel. In fact, the hardest part about building a coaching business isn't even the content.
The hardest part about running a profitable coaching business is earning trust.
Most coaches invest years of posting, showing up and proving that they're credible before anyone is willing to hand them money.
Pastors have already done that.
When a pastor decides to launch a coaching business, they're not doing so in a vacuum. They're doing this after years of teaching every weekend. It comes after hundreds, if not thousands of repetitions in learning how to structure a teaching that leads someone from confusion to clarity.
It comes after late night phone calls. Hospital visits. Sitting across from someone in the worst season of their life and helping them find their way out.
It comes after building small groups out of strangers who now call each other family.
In other words, most pastors have already been running a "coaching business" for free for years.
This is why my students are able to launch brand new programs in as little as a week with just 900 followers and generate $5,000 without running a single ad.
The trust was already there, it just never had anywhere to go.
If you're thinking about running a coaching program and would like some help, I'm opening up a few slots on my schedule for free implementation calls.
Just reach out if that's you.
