A powerful day for everyone everywhere regarding sexual assault and a stand of no tolerance. Thank you Rep. Higgins and Farley bouvier for getting us together to recognize how important and how serious this is.

Today I joined the Massachusetts Caucus of Women Legislators and our legislative colleagues to recognize Denim Day.

This worldwide movement brings awareness to the ongoing prevalence of sexual assault and the need to provide compassion, support, and justice to survivors.

Every day survivors show incredible resilience in the face of violence. I am proud not only to stand in solidarity with survivors in Massachusetts, but to continue advocating for justice system reforms and funding for the services survivors need to heal.
