The Central Massachusetts AFL-CIO awards 12–15 scholarships of $1,000 each to high school seniors graduating in 2026 who are children, grandchildren, or union members themselves. Applicants must have a union affiliation with a local in the Central MA jurisdiction, and the member must live or work in that area.

Deadline: Applications must be submitted by May 1, 2026.
Application Process: A lottery drawing is used to select winners, with winners announced at the annual Golf Tournament on June 22, 2026.
Presentation: Scholarships are presented at the Labor Day celebration on September 4, 2026.
How to Apply: Applicants must complete the official Central Massachusetts AFL-CIO Scholarship Application form, including member/local union info.
