The Worcester Public Market is a multi-vendor, food-oriented marketplace in the European tradition, featuring street-oriented business of various stripes, a small-merchant market floor, the foodie-heaven Market Pantry, and a vibrant food court with a seamless connection to the social and gustatory pleasures of the Wachusett Brew Yard. My favorite restaurant is the Akraeatery. gives a modern twist to traditional west African Meals and my favorite is the special bowl, and don’t forget the dizzle on the top. Located in Worcester’s resurgent Canal District, the market sits right on legendary Kelley Square, just a few seconds from Interstate 290, a minute walk from the Worcester Red Sox Stadium and a world away from the ordinary. Parking is abundant, and street life abounds. The district is home to the adjacent, mixed-use Crompton Building and offers visitors literally dozens of restaurants, bars, and eclectic retail establishments. The Worcester Public Market is a Must Visit!!!
