I took a 7 month break from refinishing furniture to rest my hands. I've had this hall tree in my inventory for about 3 years and decided I'm going to do a piece for myself and just take my time. It's approximately 100 years old and had been painted white many moons ago. I painstakingly stripped her down and sanded her to raw wood. Painted her a sage green color, powder glazed, distressed her and kept the sides, bottom and top raw wood with shaded stain for dimension. Before pic and inspiration pic attached. I think I nailed it!
