We love to celebrate our partners! We have been honored to team with Tree of Life Ministries (TOL) as they serve Loudoun County through meals, life skills training, and other relief programs. Today, we're excited to announce a major win for them: the opening of their second coffee shop in Loudoun County!
TOL has long provided employment and internship opportunities for individuals with special needs at their Leesburg coffee shop, SimplyBe Coffee. They just opened a second location in the Purcellville Giant! Grand opening is set for June 25th, but coffee is available now.

Learning a New Way to Work
Vim is a text editor that throws out almost everything you're used to: no clicking, no menus, no mouse. Instead, it's built entirely around the keyboard, with commands and motions designed to let developers move through and edit code with precision and speed. That sounds intimidating, and honestly, it is at first.
Switching to Vim isn't like downloading a new app. It's more like learning an instrument — slow at first, occasionally frustrating, but deeply rewarding once it clicks. Expect to feel slower before you feel faster. Most developers spend about six months moving back and forth before it starts to feel natural.
The key is patience and small steps: start by enabling Vim's keyboard mode inside the editor you already use, practice in low-pressure moments, and customize shortcuts to match the way your brain actually works. The commands that don't stick on their own will start sticking when you chose them.
