250 years.

For two and a half centuries, this flag has flown through moments of triumph and heartbreak, hope and hardship. It has witnessed generations who dreamed, sacrificed, stumbled, and persevered. ALWAYS believing tomorrow could be better than today.

Today isn't about pretending our history is perfect. It's about honoring the people who came before us, appreciating the freedoms we've inherited, and remembering that every generation has a responsibility to leave this country a little stronger, a little kinder, and a little more united than they found it.
Whether you're celebrating with fireworks, family around a grill, quiet reflection, or simply enjoying the summer evening, I hope today reminds you of the things that bring us together: home, community, gratitude, and hope.

Here's to 250 years of the American story, and to the chapters still waiting to be written.

Happy Independence Day, and the dream of 250 more!!! ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ

One of my favorites from last year. This is a shot from an access road to my in laws summer cabin in Fryburg Maine, on a beautiful fall afternoon.

having grown up on a baseball field, this was such a fun opportunity. I want to think the u13 team and all of Northeast Longhorns for giving me the opportunity to come out and shoot a game! I truly love shooting sports events, and getting the chance to get some experience, is invaluable. It was also a great chance to play around with the sigma 150-500mm lens, this is by no means a pro lens. Much more for landscape photography, and i was personally stunned at how good some of these came out. definately something id like to do more of!! I also need to thank my boy for being the one to set this all up for me!!
**PSA- these are cropped images to comply with the instagram requirement of keeping photos the same ratio... Ill resubmit a few in seperate posts on each platform. โšพ๏ธ๐Ÿ“ธ

Leah just wrapped up her Master's in Civil Engineering from and we spent six hours turning one of the most iconic campuses in the country into her personal photo studio.
Gothic arches. Hidden libraries. Colonnades that go on forever. A waterfall as a backdrop.
This isn't your standard graduation photo package. This is what happens when a photographer actually gives a damn about getting it right.

Three years old and already the most stylish person at the party. ๐Ÿ•ถ๏ธ
There's something special about returning clients-- watching this little one grow up one session at a time is exactly why I do what I do. Cake, balloons, big smiles, and a family that was pure joy to photograph. This is what it's all about.

Some moments feel like they'll last forever, and then one morning you look up and realize they already passed. This whole series has been my attempt to slow that down, even just for a second.

-This photo is part of a collection I created that follows a child's journey from beginning to end, but sequenced to feel like it all happened in a single day. Morning to night. A whole childhood, gone in a breath.
