First in Flight - RC Jet Rally

It is with heavy heart that we announce First in Flight has come to a close. We have encountered numerous issues over the last couple of seasons, along with staffing shortages to further complicate matters. Over the last two years we have lost key staff members to death, health issues, job conflicts or simply not having the time available work the event. There are of course other issues that we choose not to publish here on an open forum but Simply put, it is just too much for a small group of people to handle anymore.

We had 12 awesome years at Wilson, but it's time let it go, We wish to thank all of the awesome pilots and family members that have supported us throughout the years, and we will surely miss seeing you on the flightline. We were fortunate enough to have many sponsors over the years, but we can't leave without sending a very special thanks to the City of Wilson, Dreamworks RC, Bob Violet Models and Jet Central… These wonderful folks have been there to support us in a big way nearly every year we held the event and We will forever be grateful for your support and presence.

Again, we wish to thank all of you who have supported us these many years and We especially want to thank the many First in-Flight workers who have dedicated countless hours to this event as have given up vacations, family time and much more to make this event the success it was.

I will always be grateful for your support and friendship.
