Jahlil Brown was only 14 years old when a fight in Louisville ended in deadly gunfire. Police said the shooting happened late Saturday night in the Cloverleaf neighborhood after officers were dispatched to a disturbance on Gagel Avenue.

As officers headed toward the scene, they heard gunshots and soon found two teenage victims. Jahlil could not be saved and was pronounced dead where he was found.

Another teen was rushed to UofL Hospital and is expected to survive. Investigators have not released what led to the fight or who fired the shots, leaving Jahlil’s family and community waiting for answers.
