The Wichita Parks Foundation is pleased to announce a $3,750 matching grant to help pay for repairs needed at the Pagoda Building in Central Riverside Park after recent vandalism caused an estimated $7,500 in damage to walls, doors and windows.
Our hope is that the community will help contribute matching funds to help ensure that repair costs do not impact funds being raised for the Friends of the Kansas Wildlife Exhibit’s renovation project that’s turning the historic building into an education center and community hub.
Every dollar helps and is appreciated.
We are incredibly grateful to announce a second partnership with the Wichita Parks Foundation for the Riverside Pagoda to address the $7,500 in damages done to the Pagoda Monday night.
The Wichita Parks Foundation will provide a matching grant of $3,750 once we’ve raised the initial $3,750 ourselves. We have been hard at work the last few days doing just that and need your help to get us past the finish line. Every dollar helps and if you can’t give yourself sharing this post or telling your friends and family about our Riverside Pagoda Project is also extremely helpful! Find our donation link and PO Box for mailed checks below.
