king sure you have everything that baby needs, and then... oh pictures!!! First, you'll want maternity pictures to document your pregnancy. These are done when you are 7-8 months along, and your bump is fairly large. Some mommas don't get very big, and that's okay. I have some techniques for getting that bump out a little further. Next, You'll want to schedule your newborn session months ahead of time. There is always a chance baby can arrive early, and we can always make adjustments to the schedule, to make sure the baby gets photographed in the appropriate time frame. I suggest 6-12 days new for the baby's first photos. They are still fresh, sleepy, and flexible at this point, and momma is more adjusted, rested up, and nursing. You can expect to bring only the necessities for your baby's session. I will have everything else needed to photograph your new little bundle.
