Fire…Music…Backyard…”Absolutely Perfect!”

So yesterday we actually tore out and removed a really old epoxy stone overlay that was installed many years ago…a gentleman purchased the home with this headache as part of the purchase! There was no fixing the old epoxy stone overlay. So we told him we could do a method of madness that would cover that up and allow us to install some of our fancy stuff and give him a beautiful back patio…financially it just wasn’t in his budget to do that! So at that point we offered him to bring some equipment and remove that overlay for him which in return none of us could possibly know what the concrete would look like underneath this epoxy stone overlay after 20 plus years of being covered up…now the removal costs was within his budget and he was willing to take the risk with us removing the old concrete overlay back to the original concrete to see if it was still usable! To our surprise the concrete surface was in extremely good condition and the customer will be able to power-wash and get some good use out of his patio without the mess of the old epoxy stone everywhere. This obviously worked out well for him and definitely helped to buy him some time to get other projects completed around the home first! Hopefully someday we will be back to his home in the future to maybe install some of our Decorative Concrete to that newly exposed concrete patio…”Now I am putting this info out there because I know there is a ton of this epoxy stone around Wichita Ks and the surrounding areas. So if this story relates to you and your home…What we are saying after removing the old epoxy stone yesterday ourselves and seeing the end results! You folks have an option of actually removing the old overlay from the concrete surface without having to jackhammer the concrete out and pouring all new concrete back!” Just remember…we have to be able to get our equipment to the point of removal!
