I started this piece last year and finally got around to finishing it. I call it, "Yemaya".

Had fun while my aunt Bev was in town. I thought I'd to send her off with a mojito with fresh mint from my garden and this tray to eat her snacks on.

I've never used more than one pigment. I figure mothers day is a good time to experiment.

By the way mom, I'll have roasted sweet corn cobs topped with butter, minced garlic and cilantro, with a dash of tajin, ready for you when you get out of church.
