Wichita on the Cheap

🩰✨ One of my favorite things about summer is stumbling across events that feel special without costing a thing.

The 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗻 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗣𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝗻 are coming to parks around the Wichita area 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟭𝟬–𝟭𝟰, and they’re such a fun way to spend an evening with the family. Grab a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy a night of ballet under the stars.

🎭🌳 One of the things we’re most looking forward to this summer is 𝐒𝐡𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 with the Wichita Shakespeare Company.

The first performance is this Friday, and we’re crossing our fingers that the weather cooperates! Don’t forget to 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐰𝐧 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐤𝐞𝐭 and settle in for a fun evening outdoors. Best of all? Every performance is free!

⛽💸 With gas prices creeping up again, my husband and I have been trying to be a little more intentional about saving at the pump.

We've started paying more attention to fuel rewards, where we're filling up, and even those little habits that waste gas. (I am definitely guilty of idling in the driveway too long before leaving 😅)
