The Wichita Urban Professionals is an organization made up of professionals from 21-40 years old who are focused on developing and empowering the young, diverse and talented in South Central Kansas and the surrounding areas. We aspire to help lead these professionals into their next steps of life by providing engaging and relevant personal development, professional development and social networking trainings and events.

🗳️ Your Vote Matters, Wichita.
If you're not registered to vote yet, now is the time. The voter registration deadline for the August 4 Primary Election is July 14, and if you're not registered by then, you won't be able to vote in the primary.
This election cycle, Kansans will have the opportunity to vote on an important issue that could affect:
⚖️ A proposed Kansas constitutional amendment regarding how Kansas Supreme Court justices are selected, which is on the August statewide ballot.
What's at stake:
The current process includes a public vote that allows Kansans to decide whether appointed Kansas Supreme Court justices should continue serving. This ballot measure asks voters whether that selection process should change.
No matter where you stand on the issue, one thing remains true: your voice is only heard if you vote.
Take time to:
✅ Verify your voter registration.
✅ Learn what's on your ballot.
✅ Research the issues from trusted, nonpartisan sources.
✅ Make a plan to vote.

Who knew a little kickball could create so much fun?
This year's Juneteenth Kickball Tournament brought the laughs, competition, and community spirit! We made new connections, welcomed new faces, and had a great time along the way.
Shout-out to our energetic facilitator, Brad Richards; our all-star umpire, Richard Harris with the City of Wichita; Tadonne Neal; and the entire Juneteenth ICT team for being amazing partners year after year.
Our own co-chair joined the field with his , along with and the north end bulldogs, Grayson Work-fields with , led by Tyrico Burton, and partners led by Alegnia Pope. Thank you to our ICT UP member for hanging out with us till the end, supporting the team.
There may have been a few technical setbacks, but nothing could stop the fun. Until next year... Team took the win this year!!! Who will be our 2027 Champs? 👀Start recruiting your team now! 🏆😂
