Handpan Santa

Ho Ho Ho! One of the most fulfilling moments last month was when we volunteered at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center and Ascension Via Christi St Francis Hospital. We had a woman who was going through a tough time stop and sing O Holy Night with us in the lobby. It still gives me chills thinking about this interaction. We also had a security guard break out of his shell when he sang and danced to Jingle Bell Rock. These magical moments are what keeps me going. Thank you for filling our hearts with Christmas Joy! 😍

I attended a funeral recently and the pastor said something that resonated with me. It was a quote from Scott Adams: “Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple effect with no logical end.” This is why we spread joy. The interaction with the woman might have inspired her to be kind to someone else. The security guard might have been inspired to give joy to another person. When you give to others, there is a ripple effect that is often not seen but it still happens. Spread kindness and joy, you never know how far the ripple will reach or who it will impact!
