Take note how the liquid fertilizer comes out of the ground a distance from the probe. It's not uncommon to see it come up 6' away. This method is a really good way to disperse it underground over an area instead of a very small area, with fertilizer spikes or a drilled hole with granules.

There is quite a bit of talk about the outbreak of Army Worms. I have received many calls and messages from concerned customers and non customers.

I think it is a good time to highlight a product that all of my customers have on their yards.

Acelepryn, this is the grub preventer application. Acelepryn prevents Army Worms from hatching just like it prevents Grubs from hatching. This product is one of the best on the market but many companies opt for a cheaper product called Merit. Merit does not prevent Army Worms like Acelepryn does.

I have my fingers crossed. I won't say Acelepryn will totally protect your grass from Army Worms. So far, all of my customers have said, they have them all around their treated grass but they don't find any in their treated lawns. I will try to keep you updated.

UPDATE
I talked to my chemical rep today and he said, the Acelepryn is still active. You may see worm move into your grass but when they feed on the grass, it should kill them.
