Inspire Me Today

I'd like to invite you to dream for a moment..... If you were to build your dream home, what's the one thing that you would want it to include? Dream BIG! I've built (and sold) quite a few homes, and I'm looking for things I haven't thought of. For those who have toured our past builds, we've had saunas, treetop hot tiubs, doggie (self flushing) potty areas, starry turrets, gourmet kitchens, toasty bathroom floors, media room, stained glass telephone booth, etc..... what would YOU want to make sure is included in your dream house? I'm okay with crazy things like a zip line from the top deck to the pool in the backyard.... or whatever you can imagine! I can't wait to see your ideas.

I so appreciate the wisdom of Jimmy Buffett, as a quote or in a song. Of all of his songs, I LOVE the lead song from his last album, Bubbles Up.

Paul McCartney (who plays on a song on the album) said, “I told him that not only was the song great but the vocal was probably the best I’ve heard him sing ever. He turned a diving phrase that is used to train people underwater into a metaphor for life when you’re confused and don’t know where you are just follow the bubbles — they’ll take you up to the surface and straighten you out right away.” Paul, I agree with you.

As Jimmy says in the song... Just know that you are loved... there's light up above.... and joy, there's always enough. Bubbles Up!

THIS is what joy looks like! Koko and I were just playing in the backyard, chasing a bright pink ball, and she was 100% focused on just having FUN! I love to watch her run at full speed, tumble, get back up and do it all over again.

Watching her makes me wonder how we can create more pure joy in our lives. I think that today, I'm going to be more like my dog. :)
