I love to use all kinds of materials in my jewelry and art pieces....I will always love all the gemmy stuff like diamonds, pearls, opals, chalcedonies, and agates, but for years now, I have been submerged in the mystery and fascination of working with fordite! Be it in silver, steel, copper, bronze, gold.... I have been bitten by the fordite bug, and I just can't stop carving.

Sterling Silver and Motor Agate Fordite Ring #1133 Lapidary cut, multi-layered Motor Agate (Fordite) cabochon bezel-set in sterling silver. The fordite material was salvaged from a major auto plant.
