~ I have always been a strong and confident person but my biggest fear has always been Cancer.
After being sick and undiagnosed for 6 years, it was incredibly scary and life shattering to learn “you have cancer”.
The strong grew stronger but the confidence waned. What if I die?What if I get too sick to function? What about the things I have yet to see and achieve? What about the children I have not yet had?
But then, you see, that’s where LOVE & FRIENDSHIP take over.
The ones that cannot support you fade away while the ones that are true and significant raise you up. They are there to hold your hand. There to take you’re call at 2am. There to tell you “you’ve got this.” There to love you and instill that confidence you lost right back in you.
And you struggle. And you FIGHT. And you learn- ALOT. And you pray.
And that very love and friendship becomes the power that carries you through.
Almost 3 years out and the fear still remains but I live around it. Because I am so grateful! And happy! And resilient! And I live in the love of each day.
