It's not often that brands last a century, enduring all the shifts and evolutions, shaping and reshaping to fit the times, listening for cues and clues from voices within and beyond that reflect in the brands voice.

100 years on, we get to enjoy the museum as it stands today, a place that invites all, and all who's invited gets to call this place their own.

Small local businesses are the heart of rural towns in North Carolina. Capturing their story allows us to learn about the purpose, vision and goals of these companies. All of them share similar challenges in today's economy. The boom of big manufacturing companies set competitive pricing that these small businesses can't compete with. Most of them are concerned if they will be able to sustain their business and the jobs they support.

Even though many obstacles are stacked against them, the pride, grit and positivity these two owners had left us feeling hopeful that the future isn't that grim.

The two owners stood tall, smiled and were proud of the business and people they support.
