As I mentioned in my post when I started back on my journey this past Monday, my weekly weigh-ins are going to be every Saturday. It's only been 5 days but I want to get in the habit of Saturday weekly weigh-ins.
So, even though we're only 5 days in, today will be my first weekly weigh-in. I've stayed under my allotted carb limit everyday this week and I've been drinking 3 to 4 l of water every day.
It's paying off because in the first 5 days I am down 7.8 pounds!
I'm very encouraged by my results so far and I can't wait to step on the scale next Saturday to see how this week goes.
Just like dealing with losing Mom, I am taking this journey one day at a time. I know she's watching down on me and that she's proud of what I'm attempting. I'm going to do my absolute best to finally reach my goal. I have been trying over and over for more than 15 years. I've looked back through my Google photos and I've seen we in photos from 2010, which shows me how long I've been fighting this battle but this time I have an even bigger purpose so I believe I can do it.
Thanks for watching over me from heaven, Mom. I'm doing this for me AND you! I hope I'm making you proud. ❤️
