As I reflect on those that have left an indelible mark on my life....my grandfather and grandmother, Charles and Alice Correia come to mind. An entrepneur in every sense of the word...grandfather Charlie scolded me as a young child for appearing at the breakfast table in pajamas. He made it very clear we needed to be dressed before sitting down....and even today I find myself following his mantra. It has served me well and there have been a number of occasions where I was very, very glad I was ready early. Among other ventures...Grandfather owned a motel and clothing store in Patterson CA and bought hundreds of acres in Oregon. My love of Yachats...agate hunting and everything Oregon Coast was born from summers spent with them and Aunts, Uncles and Cousins on its sandy beaches. Fond memories of finding Grandmother cooking in the kitchen in her bra covered by her apron! Grandmother loved Charleston Chews and supported my love of Heath candy bars! Entrepneurism runs in my blood and I love it! I love you both beyond words!
