We provided cold sparkler fountains and the Epic 360 Photo Booth to help make the night as memorable as it could have been. Epic Experiences LLC is a full-service event production company currently specializing in providing Professional DJ and Visual Effect Services for weddings and events of all kinds.

Job Title: Event Equipment Specialist

Job Type: Contract 1099 employee to start, possible future PT/FT regular employment

Compensation: $25 per hour

Job Description

The Event Equipment Specialist is responsible for all audio and visual effects equipment for an event. They transport all equipment to the event, set it all up, and test it to make sure it is ready for the performance staff to use prior to the event start time. After the event, they tear down the equipment and transport it back to the office. The job may also include tasks during the event like staffing the photo booth, operating cold spark machines, or even assisting the DJ or Visual Effects Specialist.

A qualified candidate must…

* Be willing and able to work full or partial days on weekends and evenings

* Be willing to travel overnight on occasion if assigned to a remote event

* Have the ability to lift up to 60 lbs and carry heavy equipment to and from the truck

* Possess a valid driver’s license and feel comfortable driving a box truck (moving truck)

* Be able to follow directions and work with little or no supervision after being trained

* Be a good problem solver and a quick learner

* Have strong customer service skills and be committed to exceeding expectations

* Be able to communicate clearly, concisely, and accurately

* Be reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

* Have a calm, personable demeanor and be able to handle difficult people with respect

* Be neat in appearance, maintain good personal hygiene, and be willing to comply with company dress code standards

It would also be great if you have…

* Experience with audio and video equipment

* Experience working “behind-the-scenes” in the production of events

* Experience using hand tools (hammer, screwdrivers, measuring tape, levels, etc.)
