ining and teaching are deeply rooted in classical music pedagogy, with a strong focus on helping each student reach their highest level of technical, artistic, and musical development. Ritter earned her Master’s Degree in Piano Performance and Pedagogy from the Gnessin Music Academy in Russia in 1989. She also graduated with honors from the Music College of Leninabad in 1983 and received an Honors Diploma from the Leninabad Music School for the Gifted in 1978. As a performer, Professor Ritter has appeared at the Kennedy Center and has also performed at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
