Yesterday, a judge issued a preliminary injunction that will provide much-needed relief for many people jailed in Riverside County, CA because they are unable to afford cash bail.

Cash bail policies like Riverside are not just unconstitutional, they cause devastating harm to people’s lives. Furthermore, these polices have actually been shown to increase crime.

In the wake of the horrific ICE killings in Minnesota, many prominent Democrats have called for body cameras and more training for ICE. Yesterday, CRC founder talked to about how important it is that we don’t get distracted by these meaningless and counterproductive reforms.

Watch him break down why body cameras do not reduce police violence and actually serve as a surveillance tool for the policy industry.
