It’s a new week, and I’m back on making things happen.
I’m realizing after my last few shoots I need a second camera that’s more optimized for video. I’m eyeing the Sony a7 V as the one to fit the roster slot since I’ve been doing video but also want something to compliment my stills focused camera and my video focused one.
It’s like choosing which hammer is right for the job. Each one has a different problem it’s solving. Same with cameras. Grateful for the work. Looking to keep expanding.

I’ve been slowly dipping my toes and saving up for a . Trying different bodies, seeing what works best for me.
This setup isn’t mine yet, but it’s the one that’s felt the most “right” for a daily setup; the Leica SL2-S with an adapted 75mm f/2.4 Summarit M lens.
For what I like to say photograph, portraits and street, this feels ideal. I get to really compose an image with focus while still having room to make sure I can adjust in tighter spaces.
Here are a couple photos from testing it out the other day. Hoping to add this setup to my kit sometime soon 🔴
