This week, the U.S. House Judiciary Committee (HJC) will markup and bring up for vote the EAGLE Act (H.R. 3648) – the bill to remove the discriminatory per country limits on Green Cards.

Do your part in fighting for Equality – please take a few minutes to call the House Judiciary Committee members to advocate for the passage of the EAGLE Act.

CALL SCRIPT

2) I am calling because I will die in a 200-year discriminatory green card line only because I was born in India.

3) I am calling on the Representative to please support and vote for the EAGLE Act H.R.3648 when it comes up for vote on Tuesday at the Judiciary Committee markup.

4) This is a fair, balanced, and bipartisan bill which passed the House in last Congress with 365 votes and it passed the Senate with Unanimous Consent.

5) A lot of people in the district will benefit from this bill.

6) Please convey to the Representative to vote for the bill and that we are counting on their vote for the bill.
