Last year, the Working Families Tax Cuts made permanent and expanded my OZ legislation, which leverages the tax code to spur private investment in low-income and rural communities.
During today's Committee on Ways and Means GOP hearing, I invited Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent to Erie not only to see the great work in our city, but also to see what's next for Rural Opportunity Zones.
Perhaps the best part: Opportunity Zones don't use a dime of taxpayer money.
