QUETTA: Security forces have killed 197 terrorists in ongoing clearance and mop-up operations across Balochistan following coordinated attacks over the weekend. Nushki town has been cleared and markets reopened, while search operations continue in surrounding mountainous areas. Fresh operations are also underway in Washuk and Awaran.

Police and CTD personnel suffered casualties during the attacks, though official details remain undisclosed. IGP Mohammad Tahir paid tribute to martyred officers, reaffirming the police’s resolve to eliminate terrorism with public support.

Meanwhile, China strongly condemned the attacks, expressing solidarity with Pakistan and reiterating support in the fight against terrorism.

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has assured Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian that Saudi Arabia will not allow its airspace or territory to be used for any military action against Iran. During a phone call, the crown prince stressed dialogue as the only path to resolving regional differences and maintaining stability.
