Learning with Jasmine

Simple? No. Depression, anxiety, and suicidal thoughts have lived within me that Jasmine has seen me in and at my worst!

BUT GOD!!! & the years that I couldn’t love Jasmine the way she needed because I thought my life wasn’t worth living — this book has changed my life. I’m back in counseling and proud of it! Being a wellness coach for others starts with me.

The greatest gift you can ever give to others is your wellness journey to a better you. Everyday with Jesus, we should I be different! Great is thy faithfulness towards me!

She says, “I love you because you’re happy.” 😭❤️

Jasmine wasn’t cold. She was having a meltdown…for 30 min.
I was present for her.
I remained calm and quiet.
She began to self-regulate.

This is what Autism looks like in our house every Sunday (put clean sheets on at this day).

Same task.
Same outcome.
Every Sunday.

Avoidance? “You should do it for her then!”

Me-
Absolutely not because she is now on the least-to-most stage of her task analysis (see comments for details)

FYI - Once she self-regulated, she completed her task by herself!
