Remember when you were a child and making a new friend was as simple was walking up to another little person on the playground and asking, “Hey, do you want to play?” Yet as adults, honestly how terrifying and difficult can it be? It’s as if we don’t quite have the confidence anymore or the secret code to just get out there and connect meaningfully with new people.
I tend to favor boldness. And, lately I’ve been so grateful for total strangers with whom I’ve created a deeply meaningful connection, sometimes even in just one conversation.
As we plan what’s next for Lemon Rebellion, the topic of creating meaningful friendships in adulthood is one that we’re considering. Is this a topic that is relevant for you?
