At our June 11th Forum, participants worked together to write Haikus about Friendship. Here are two of them!

You first invite me
Then I can say yes or no
I yearn to say yes

I like you a lot
We don’t need words to connect
We find common fun!

We are full of joy! 🥰

What a wonderful day at the Pathways to Friendship Annual Forum!

Over 60 people came together to celebrate, reflect, and bring new ideas forward to foster reciprocal friendships between people with and without disabilities.

Self-Advocate and presenter Jonathan Spiller welcomed us in with a fun and unique ice breaker activity.

The Arc of Massachusetts CEO, Maura Sullivan, kicked us off with exciting legislative updates and recognized the important work Pathways to Friendship is doing in the disability community.

We were honored to have keynote speaker Dr. Ann Turnbull, a nationally recognized leader in intellectual and developmental disabilities, known for her groundbreaking work in family support, inclusive communities, and quality of life.

Plugged in Band Program rocked and rolled us into the afternoon in classic style.

We closed the day with great group brainstorming sessions!

We hope you will join us at future events and presentations. ❤️
