🏈 WATCH CITY LEGACY | PLAYOFF WEEK 🏈
Before our playoff game this Sunday, we were honored to have Rupert English come speak to the team at practice.
Rupert is a true Watch City alumnus, a 1991 State Championship captain, and a former Boston College football player who competed for the Eagles from 1992–1996.
During his time at Boston College, Rupert wore #25 and brought versatility, toughness, and leadership to the field, playing multiple positions including running back, linebacker, and defensive line.
But his story did not stop after football.
Professionally, Rupert has continued to lead at a high level in the gaming industry, working with Treyarch Studios, one of the major studios behind the Call of Duty: Black Ops franchise. His work in leadership, culture, inclusion, and belonging shows our athletes that the lessons learned through football can carry into every part of life.
That is what made his message so powerful.
He has walked the path.
He has competed.
He has led.
And now he came back to pour into the next generation.
Thank you, Rupert English, for speaking life into our players before our first playoff game.

Watch City Program is currently sitting as the #7 overall seed and positioned in the 14U Premier playoff bracket with a 3-2 record.
First-year program. No participation fees.
OUT THE MUD & STILL STANDING.
The mission was never just to play football. It was to prove that when our kids get structure, coaching, and belief, they can compete with anybody.
