Just to be transparent with our citizens. Deputy Jaxson, after we received several evidentiary pictures like the one depicted, has been written up for sleeping on the job. The disciplinary action included the temporary removal of his chewy green bone. In return Deputy Jaxson chewed up some of the Sheriff’s carpet in his office so the bone was immediately returned.
