Welcome to the new chapter of my life! I am so glad you are here.

If you don’t know me, I am the face behind Dabras (pronounced Da-Brauz). For years, I dedicated my life to nursing, caring for others in their most vulnerable moments. But at 53, I decided it was time to care for my own dreams. I took a massive leap of faith, decided to leave the nursing field, and become a full-time reseller.

Why? Because I wanted to prove that it is NEVER too late to start over. As the sole breadwinner for my family—which includes a beautifully blended crew of 10 kids and 37 (and counting!) grandkids—I know a thing or two about hard work and chaos.

Here at Living Loud, I am sharing the real, unfiltered journey of building a business from home. You will see the good, the bad, and the hilarious reality of liquidation pallets, thrifting vintage western wear, and selling on Whatnot, eBay, and Marketplace. (And you won't see me shipping glass, because who has time for that stress?!)

Leaving the nursing field is my final goal. No, I dont hate being a nurse, I just hate the politics that follow. The bottom line is always the almighty dollar, not the patient. Im 15 years in and have worked in many areas. The end game is always the same, no matter the setting. So im ready to throw in the towel and go for my dream to be a full time reseller. Just pulling all my ducks in a row and then planning my exit strategy.

Starting over is a hard thing to do when trying to grow a presence on social media. Shutting down my personal profile and moving to a Page is a decision I didn't take lightly. Having to grab monetization all over again is pure madness but here we go! Starting from 12 followers. Lets see how high we can fly!
