Changeling Chain was founded in 2015 as a storefront for its founder to sell chainmaille. Before that, he worked on commissions by word of mouth, and the work was rewarding enough to attempt as a career. From 2016 onward, Changeling Chain began to emphasize education and entertainment rather than physically selling product, and uses Twitch as a platform for this purpose. Products are occasionally

I just finished this coif live on my Twitch stream! I used Silver Anodized Aluminum rings from Chainmail Joe (specifically, the 16ga 9/32") and overall I'm pleased with how AR 4.5 rings flow as opposed to AR 4 rings.

The biggest challenge was prototyping the face window; I knew I had to taper the sides for a closed coif, but I hadn't anticipated narrowing the width afterwards. The process was a blast, though, and if you want to see it yourself, I broadcast on Twitch several days a week.

If I get enough funds to get a PO Box, I can start doing giveaways of my creations, too! I always enjoy spreading the art of any way I can, and giving some of my work back to the community that helps me be able to make it is a good way to do that. Last night, I set up at a local craft festival. As of now, I'm midway through the event and am already out of the red. You all made this possible, . Thank you. To more conventions and festivals in the future; I might be able to make my full time job yet!

After several days and much hand wringing, it's finished-the redesign of my coin capture necklace. The rings are all good anodized aluminum rings; the larger is 16ga 5/16" and the smaller ones are 18ga 1/4", both from . The coins themselves are various souvenir coins I purchased from ove the years I visited.

The final weave took a while to figure out, but I eventually went with Full Persian 6 to match the persian in the capture weave. Some of the closures admittedly aren't my best work, but this is a personal project decades in the making after several redesign works. I'm just happy to finally be finished with it.

If there's interest, I might do a tutorial on how to do the capture weave. Let me know if that's something you all want to see. Thanks to everyone for being with me along this two decade long journey of artistry and a decade of being . Hopefully there will be many more to come. Now on to my next project...
