As our late-season storm continues to pull away, temperatures will be feeling more like early June as they soar into the upper 70s and lower 80s across the region by this weekend! It will be a perfect time to enjoy the outdoors and connect your personal weather station to let the NWS know your local conditions: https://www.weather.gov/rnk/CitizenWeatherObservingProgram

Spring has officially arrived! As we continue our temperature transition slowly over the next few weeks, the threat of severe weather for our region will increase. Not only is it important to review your preparedness plans but to connect your personal weather station with the NWS to help them better forecast and issue appropriate advisories or warnings when threats are present.
