ding awareness, etc. It wasn't until I transitioned from supporter to survivor that I truly understood how short life is-when we come face to face with our own mortality. I am not alone on this path; I have had friends, family, & colleagues who have been diagnosed with this horrible disease. It not only causes hardships on the diagnosed (mentally & physically) but also on the family. My purpose & passion is simple: to unfurl acts of kindness for those dealing with Breast Cancer; hence the Pink Ribbon Effect. How truly wonderful it will be to fund raise/hold events to be able to provide items or services for those embarking on this tumultuous journey whether a mastectomy, double mastectomy, chemotherapy, and / or reconstructive surgery, etc.
