Scrolling through this account to reflect on the past year was truly startling. I barely Fancied this year, and the stuff I did create was mainly for myself, not my customers.
And it was so necessary for me to take that step back from the grind of it and get back to the joy of it. This chapter of life - sandwiched between raising teenage daughters and managing aging parents, all while fighting my own aging body - is an ass kicker. So I only chose projects that brought me quiet focus during the process and delight with the finished product. Luckily most of those finished projects are in my own house and I get to enjoy them every single day.
So long 2023, and bring on the blank canvas that is 2024. ✌🏼
