Band of Oz will be closing out the show this Saturday, May 10 at Beach Music Blast! 🤩

Beach Music Blast will be taking place on May 10 at 17th Street Park. The Main Event Band will take the stage at 11AM followed by The Original Rhondels, The Catalinas, and Band of Oz. It's going to be an awesome day of s**g dancing under the stars and sun. 🕺☀️

Band of Oz has been a Carolina tradition for 30 years. Originating in the 60's and growing immensely over the years, the band has continued to be a staple in the beach music industry. With award-winning hits like "Shama Lama Ding D**g" and other popular projects like "Over the Rainbow", Band of Oz puts on a show like no other.

The Original Rhondels are taking the stage at 1:30PM this Saturday, May 10 as part of Beach Music Blast! ☀️🎶

From Virginia Beach, The Original Rhondells are a music tradition who have performed their hit records across the United States. In 1969, Bill Deal and the Rhondels began a recording career that would take them to Madison Square Garden and across the country. With three Top 10 Hits - May I, I’ve Been Hurt, and What Kind of Fool Do You Think I Am - the band hit the road and delighted audiences with outstanding vocals, powerful brass, and exciting showmanship.

Bill Deal’s passing was a sad and unexpected blow to the music industry, but his legend lives on. 🎶🪽
The band continues to perform around the country, keeping alive the great music that earned them a star on the Legends Walk of Fame and an induction in the Rhythm and Blues Hall of Fame.
