My favorite transformation by far is the antique vanity to nightstands split and this one did not disappoint. They are a lot of work and require repairs and often some rebuilding but the outcome is worth it. This one was for a client and she wanted it painted in Benjamin Moore Ballet White but the legs were too pretty not to highlight with a natural wood look. Can’t wait to see them in their new home!

I’ve been wanting to experiment with slatted drawer fronts, and when a dear friend asked me to update this table, I knew it was the perfect candidate. Big thanks to for the tip and the MDF pole-wrap link—so easy to cut and install. The final color is Stone Griege, a gorgeous neutral that suits it perfectly.

Finished up two pieces for a friend and repeat client using the Restoration/Pottery Barn faux wood look. This is a great way to update a piece that has blotchy or mismatched wood types. Sorry, no before pics of these two 😔

Just wanted to give this cherry dresser a quick update. I was planning to paint but the finish was cracking so it all needed to come off. Lots of scraping and sanding, a little jigsaw work on the base, two rounds of bleach, two coats of my favorite Driftwood stain, a couple of topcoats, new hardware and pretty wallpaper and voila!! This one is not available—it’s staying with us and going into our guest bedroom.

This dresser set has been a labor of love but I’m super proud of how they turned out!! These were a roadside find (thanks !) and needed a lot of work. I hated the base (though the hidden castors were nice for moving them around once I got them home.) So I built new bases for both (thanks , your YouTube video was sooo helpful!), rebuilt a broken drawer, reattached the broken top of the long dresser, repaired veneer, stripped and sanded, painted and sealed, refreshed hardware and lined the drawers with a pretty, moody wallpaper. Phew!! It was a lot, with mistakes along the way but I learned a ton and tried new tools and products. This set is **AVAILABLE** DM for details.
