Rocio Perry, our Community Liaison, brought the energy to Mercy House at Victoria with a Chair Zumba class!

The residents were active, engaged, and happy to join in. It was a fun way to get moving, share some laughs, and bring a little extra joy to the day. Thank you to Mercy House for welcoming us!

Residents enjoyed getting moving together and even shared that they felt better afterward. We love being able to bring simple, uplifting activities into the community that support connection, movement, and a little extra joy in the day.

We were grateful for the opportunity to recognize these hardworking caregivers and thank them for the dedication and compassion they show residents each day.

It was a pleasure recognizing this hardworking group of ladies and thanking them for the care and dedication they provide every day.

Rocio Perry, our Community Liaison, led a lively chair Zumba class today at Avir at Cuero, formerly Whispering Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Fourteen residents joined in, stayed energized, and had a great time moving to the music. We are already looking forward to the next class.

Today is World Elder Abuse Awareness Day.

Every older adult deserves safety, dignity, respect, and protection. Raising awareness helps communities recognize the signs of abuse, neglect, or exploitation and encourages people to speak up when something does not seem right.

Protecting our elders is a responsibility we all share.
