In the eyes of a rescued animal, there is no judgement regarding human ability, speech patterns or pace. There is only the present moment.

On March 2nd, Vero beach comprehensive started an animal connections program with Florida Rescue Ranch that would make a huge impact on our participants! FRR has given us the ability to build self esteem and confidence, improve our fine and gross motor skills, make new friends, learn about animals and the care needed on the ranch but most importantly... It gave them a rare opportunity to be the caretaker rather than the care-recipient. A job every single one of them loved doing and looked forward to going every week!
THANK YOU to Cara Woods and all of her amazing staff for truly making a difference!!! We will miss you all over the summer but look forward to returning in the fall! ♥️🐴🐖🐐🐓🐶

Jensen IP Program did some fishing today without having to deal with the heat! It was a great opportunity to practice waiting our turn and congratulating our peers on a good catch. The best part is, we didn’t have to handle real worms 🪱
