Since the doors of Qmunity closed, I’ve had time to truly reflect on what Qmunity actually brought into this world.
And it was so much more than a restaurant.
It was marriages.
Relationships.
Friendships.
A sense of belonging.
A reminder that you were never alone.
Qmunity brought community — with a “Q” — together.
It became a safe space.
A place where people could simply be who they are.
A place where judgment faded, and love, laughter, respect, music, conversations, and joy took its place.
My heart was broken when the doors had to close.
But my heart is also full knowing the mission was served.
Not every place is meant to last forever physically… but the memories, the connections, and the relationships created there continue to live on through every person who walked through those doors.
People found their best friends there.
People found healing there.
People found love there.
Some even found their forever person there.
And maybe that was always the bigger purpose.
The image you see isn’t just a logo or a building.
It’s a reminder of what can happen when people come together with open hearts.
Qmunity may no longer exist as a physical place…
but the community itself still lives on in all of us.
And that’s what truly mattered. ❤️
Please feel free to post your moments, memories, friendships, relationships that began. DM if it is to personal or if you would like to post a video. This was inspired by a friend who was there at the very concept of Q. That is now getting married.

What Happened to Qmunity
Creating Qmunity is one of the top five accomplishments of my life. My goal was simple: to build a place where everyone — regardless of sexual orientation, gender identity, color, or race — could find food, friendship, and belonging. Because of our staff and community, Qmunity became that safe, welcoming home. I’m deeply grateful for every person who showed up, supported us, and helped make that possible.
This is hard to share: effective October 15, 2025, Qmunity will be closed. Financial realities mean I can no longer keep the business running right now. I have listed the business for sale and am in active conversations with potential investors about a possible reorganization. I am hopeful, but there are no guarantees.

Qmunity is more than a simple bite to eat or a few hours of dancing. It's about a place to come for a lunch break from a morning of stress with coworkers.
Or even stopping in to see Ashlii or Alison behind the bar and laughing about the crazy week we've all had while you sip on our House Margarita or the crisp Domestic that reminds you of good times with old friends.
We are so much more.
Come sit with friends , challenging yourself to jenga or even bring the kiddos if grandma is out on the town. Grab a Harvey Milkshake while you play a nice competitive game of operation , and ask us about our Movie Streaming channels.
A little bit of love for everyone at QMUNITY!
