🌾Keep calm, radish on!
This week's produce feature is oilseed radish that can grow to the size of a daikon radish. They have a wonderful crunch and can be used like a red radish.

Last week I learned from a costumer that radish can be used in place of potatoes! If you're looking for a low carb option with a sizeable portion, these radishes are just right.

We are so grateful for these wonderful rains this spring which has yielded a wonderful cucumber crop.

🌾Squash season is up on us!
Pattypan, aka flying saucer squash, is a delightful summer treat. It has a thin edible skin and delicious nutty like flavor that makes it versatile for any dish.
Our other squash variety is green striped cushaw which is slightly sweet and very meaty. This variety is known for making delicious pie filling.

🍽️Roast em, fry em, grill em, bake em (my favorite), you name it!

Lemongrass bundles will be available this Saturday 5/16! This wonderful herb is traditionally used in Asian cuisines but can be used in a variety of ways including a refreshing cold tea, just in time for the warmer weather. Lemongrass tea has many health benefits like boosting metabolism, lowering blood sugar, and improves digestion. Not only is it a great flavor, but good for you!

📆Saturday May 9th at The Blue Flame SolidaGoods will be set up for their monthly market starting at 10 AM.

🥬Lots of fresh microgreens, heirloom tomatoes, bananas and more delicious food will be ready for yall to take home🍅

Freshly harvested micro greens are ready for their new homes! This blend consists of heirloom varieties including broccoli, kohlrabi, radish, collards, and turnips. The flavor is a perfect blend of spicy and savory. Great for sandwiches!
