A Stanley Cup parade only happens when a city earns it, and Raleigh earned this one.
Being on the ground for a moment this big, with this many people celebrating something they waited years for, is a privilege we do not take lightly. We have been proud to play a small part in how this city came together all postseason, and seeing it end with a championship parade through downtown was something none of us will forget.
Congratulations to the Carolina Hurricanes and to every fan who showed up. You all made this one special.
