Most days now, the world feels like it’s burning and the words are escaping me. I’m feeling in ways that I can’t put a name to. I used to be so good with my words. I could articulate my senses so easily.

We are watching human beings be ripped away from their families and the lives they so intentionally built, people being murdered in the streets, houses falling on babies, modern slave trades, poverty, homelessness, hunger, climate crises—every single day.
We watch people suffer and say “I don’t want to get too political”.
When did your soul leave you? When did your heart become the void?

My mom instilled in me to always look people in the eyes
But she never prepared me for what I’d see—

The pain

the understanding

the joy

the determination

the desire

the desperation

the exhaustion

the love

The warmth, the fear, the grief, the resolve

There is always something behind those eyes.

Promise me you’ll look into everyone’s eyes and simply see humanity. It’s the least you can do. You’ll never have to look too hard to find it. See that
and then maybe
look a little deeper—and let them see you too.

Peace only exists if EVERYONE experiences it.

Be someone’s safety.
Lighten their load with compassion.
Give them a seat at your table.

The world only exists with color—and it’s better that way.

Here are some photos that just feel human without jeopardizing anyone’s safety.

We are witnessing moments that will live in museums one day and the same officials that allowed this to happen will condemn it for the history books later.

Nothing better than watching be great.

, and I are beginning a long-term project documenting Amiyah’s basketball journey—the highs, the lows, and everything in between. Navigating Type 1 diabetes as a high-level athlete, balancing family, friendships, relentless training, and the pursuit of something bigger. She’s telling us a story about discipline, resilience, and chasing greatness.

I’ve begun doing moving headshots with the hopes of showcasing more soul and personality. It’s been so fun to create for brands!
